In My Mailbox #17

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi (The Story Siren) and it allows book lovers to show what they've gotten over the week. It can be books bought, borrowed, received for review, etc.

 From top to bottom:
Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini
Bought. I had to run out and buy Starcrossed after hearing so many great reviews about it. Happily, I wasn't disappointed at all! I've already finished reading it and hopefully I'll get my review up either late tonight or tomorrow. Also, if you're wondering why my copy is currently "naked" it's because I really did just finish reading it! Am I the only one who thinks that the laurels on the cover look a little like a mustache?

Mistwood by Leah Cypess
Bought. I've been meaning to pick up Mistwood for quite some time and when I went to buy Starcrossed, it came along to keep Starcrossed company. ;D

Possess by Gretchen McNeil
Received for review. Oh. My. Goodness. First off, I've already finished reading Possess and I absolutely loved it; I mean, the main character is half Chinese and the demons were freaking scary! Although it's not pictured above or bellow, it also came with a bookmark and a temporary tattoo! I'm actually terrified to use the temporary tattoo because it's so darn pretty.

Frost by Marianna Baer
Received for review.  Creepy house? Eccentric roommate? Crazy happenings? Yes please! That's actually why I requested it and yes, I recently finished reading it too! Let's just say that I would not want to live in Frost House--I'd be too creeped out!

The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons
Bought. When a copy of The Summer Garden showed up in my mailbox, I had to run out and buy The Bronze Horseman which is the first book in the trilogy. Yes, I intend to read all three before The Summer Garden comes out! Or at the very least, I certainly intend to try, but these books are massive!

Tatiana and Alexander by Paullina Simons
Bought. See my reason for buying The Bronze Horseman

The Summer Garden by Paullina Simons
Received for review. When The Summer Garden arrived on my doorstep, I knew it was the kick in the pants that I needed to read the first two books in the trilogy which I've been meaning to read for a while now.

And last week I received The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab for review; upon receiving it I immediately began reading The Near Witch and well, I loved it! Got my review typed up already and everything. :)

So that's what's in my mailbox this week! A huge thank you to Balzer and Bray, Disney Hyperion, and William Morrow for sending me books! What's in your mailbox this week? :D
