In My Mailbox #15

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi (The Story Siren) and it allows book lovers to show what they've gotten over the week. It can be books bought, borrowed, received for review, etc.

Bought:
Die for Me by Amy Plum
I've been dying to read this! On top of that, from what I've seen so far it's gotten really good reviews from other bloggers--which is why I had to run out and buy it!

Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier
Another book I've been looking forward to. Ever since it was mentioned in Shelf Awareness, I've known that I had to pick up a copy. I mean, time travel!

-----

And that's all that was in my mailbox this week--I've been trying to keep myself from going too crazy with book buying since I do have some books that I should be reading before I can let myself go crazy at the bookstore again. For some reason my phone really did not want to take a clear picture of Die for Me, but it's really a gorgeous cover in real life! I'm glad that they changed the cover though, admittedly the initial cover made me think of Phantom of the Opera a bit (Christine on a boat).

Lastly, I've been really quiet on the blog lately, haven't I? I aim to fix that (and get back to commenting more as well as posting)! Really though, I do. Asides from that, I'm just about done reading Mercy by Rebecca Lim and my review for that should be going up tonight--or tomorrow at the latest.

So, what did you get in your mailbox this week? Also, happy reading to everyone--and if you're going to BEA, have a great time!

  1. OMG! I can't wait to read Die For Me but I have so many books sitting on my desk that I feel bad buying it right now.

  3. Great mailbox!! I want to buy both of these, too-- especially Ruby Red. And Die For Me gets *so* many great reviews...though I actually liked the old cover a little better. Anyway, hope you enjoy reading them both! :)

The photo might not be the best, but the book covers still look gorgeous. =) I haven't heard of these two titles before. And one is about time travel? What's not to love??? I've got to check it out. Thanks for sharing, Kristin!
