In My Mailbox #5

It's In My Mailbox time again! On the off chance that you don't know what In My Mailbox is, it's a weekly meme hosted by Kristi from The Story Siren and it gives book bloggers a chance to show what they've gotten over the course of the week.

Admittedly I'm actually waiting on a couple of books, so since they won't be in until next week, I won't talk about them yet. Also, I was extremely unhappy to discover that my local Barnes & Noble doesn't have The Iron Daughter in stock! (This lead to ordering it online and now I'm waiting--a tad impatiently--for it.) Because yes, I finished reading The Iron King--and my review should go up on Monday or Tuesday--and oh my goodness, I want to read more. I still need to post about the book signing too and that'll probably happen Sunday night.

Have I mentioned that I've been zipping through my TBR stack? It's satisfying and at the same time I really don't want for it to run out. Anyways, on to the books!

Bought:

Grave Witch by Kalayna Price
I've been meaning to pick this one up and every time I've looked for it before, I couldn't find it. Needless to say, when I spotted it, I grabbed it (it was the only one in stock).

Ash by Malinda Lo
I love the cover and it sounds like my sort of book--although oh my goodness is it tiny when compared to some of the other books that I read.

Torment by Lauren Kate
So, I had borrowed my friend's copy of Fallen and wanted to wait until the book signing to pick up a copy of Torment. Granted, I did borrow said friend's copy of Torment too, because I wanted to know what was going on--on the off chance that someone let a spoiler slip. Thankfully, this didn't happen.

Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly
I've been meaning to pick this book up for a while now--since I loved both The Tea Rose and The Winter Rose. I really can't wait to read this--although I'll try to finish everything else first before starting it.

For Review (not pictured)

The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa (via NetGalley)
Madly in love with the first book and with the second book on its way, I was all too excited to get a chance to read The Iron Queen and jumped at the chance. Now I must wait patiently for my copy of The Iron Daughter to arrive so I can jump on to The Iron Queen!

  1. Great books! I, too, am waiting for The Iron Daughter. It's no fun having read the first, having the third, but missing the middle piece. Hopefully your copy will get to you soon :)
