Huh? This is already my fourth IMM post!? Insanity.
Anyways, for those of you who don't know, In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren and it allows book bloggers to show what they've gotten over the course of the week! By this, it can be books that you've borrowed, bought, won, and so forth. Now, without further stalling, here's mine!
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
Yes, I may indeed have a minor obsession with Fae related books and admittedly I blame/thank Karen Marie Moning's Fever series for this. And after seeing so many other people read The Iron King, I figured that it was indeed time to pick up a copy--and then probably run screaming to the bookstore to pick up the next book before repeating the process all over again.
Wings by Aprilynne Pike
Again with the Fae! Also because so many other bloggers seem to have enjoyed it, I finally broke down and got a copy--although locating it at my local Barnes & Noble had been rather interesting because their current set-up for the YA/Teen section is a disaster. No, really. Paranormal books are supposedly on one side and they aren't all there and everything else is, well, everywhere else. Admittedly I'm not exactly loving the cover--and this from a girl who usually likes and prefers minimalistic art.
City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
I finally finished City of Bones (review here)! Which of course meant that it was time to pick up a copy of City of Ashes and it was indeed my original reason for going to the bookstore.
Guardian of the Gate by Michelle Zink
I know, I know, I haven't posted my review of Prophecy of the Sisters yet. Rest assured though, it'll be up before I post my Guardian of the Gate review. Admittedly I was originally going to wait for this to come out as a paperback before buying it since my copy of Prophecy of the Sisters is a paperback, but I broke down and got the hardcover.
And that, is my mailbox for the week! What did you get in your mailbox this week?
