Waiting On Wednesday (19)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Cross My Heart by Sasha Gould

Summary via Goodreads:
Laura della Scala knows nothing beyond the convent walls which have trapped and bound her since she was twelve years old. A single night will change her life. She will soon learn the difference between an arranged marriage and true, reckless love. Venice is a dangerous city. Intrigue, romance and power lie at its heart and secrets run through the blood of its rulers. They call Laura 'La Muta'. The Silent One. She is about to break her silence ...but at what cost?

Why am I waiting on Cross My Heart? If you've been reading my blog for a while now, you know that I gave a thing for historical fiction and Cross My Heart certainly fits the bill. I love historical romances and it sounds like Cross My Heart is just that.

Cross My Heart by Sasha Gould is published by Delacorte Books for Young Readers, a part of Random House, and its expected publication date is March 13, 2012.

So, what are you waiting on this week?
