After I get this week's In My Mailbox up it's back to finishing up my review of Bright Young Things and then finishing Nightshade (because yes, I couldn't wait and got started on it, only to be unable to put it down). xD Usually I do try to finish reading and reviewing one book at a time--so that I don't mix up plots--but every now and again there is a book which I feel inclined to read immediately.
And well, I'm beyond excited to read The Vespertine and this weekend I fully intend to knock out Trickster's Girl if I can--and well, Crestmont too. Seeing as how it's Saturday night, I better get on it! Also, the reason why Nightshade and The Eternal Ones aren't in the picture is because they're currently in the nook in which I read (alas, not a Nook, but a secluded space). The links go to GoodReads by the way, because sometimes Amazon is weird and on occasion, I don't like their summaries.
Anyways, here's my IMM of the week! :D
Dark Heart Forever by Lee Monroe (Purchased)
Crestmont by Holly Weiss (Won through GoodReads and signed!)
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl (Purchased)
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (Purchased)

Wow, you got some great books this week Kristin. I loved both Beautiful Creatures and City of Bones, I hope you do too. I'm just starting the Eternal Ones now, can't wait to hear what you think of Nightshade (I am obsessed with the cover, so pretty). Enjoy the rest of your day :)
ReplyDeleteI concur with Romy. Both Beautiful Creatures and City of Bones were just delightful. Such wonderful reads that I read them both twice already this year :)

@Romy;
ReplyDeleteThe cover of Nightshade is indeed gorgeous--and oh my goodness, I loved Nightshade so much! I'm trying to cut down on my pile of books to read and hope to get to Beautiful Creatures by Friday--and then jump on to City of Bones.
@Mad Scientist;
Alas, you make me want to read them even more! I must keep myself from reshuffling my pile of books to read. >.< '
@Little Miss Becky;
Thank you! <3 And yes, Dark Heart Forever does not appear to be coming to the US--much to my dismay. Thank goodness for Book Depository! I'm also somewhat of a cover fiend and use Book Depository to satisfy my cover cravings. xD (When I like a UK cover more than a US cover, although sometimes they're sold out. D:)
@AtenRa;
I love how there's all these books about angels and demons out lately! It gives me hope that we might finally move pass the great vampire craze. D:
