It's Follow Friday #41

Yes, it's that time of the week again! It's Follow Friday which is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The question of the week is:
What would you do over if you were to start your blog again from scratch?

Oh jeez. I'd make sure sure my Twitter handle matched my blog, I'd get a professional blog design done off the bat, and I'd pick a shorter--and easier to remember--blog name. Granted, I've spent so much time with my current Twitter handle that I don't think I'll ever change it and I personally prefer just having one Twitter account.

But definitely the second two. Honestly, I might be--who am I kidding? I am--biased, but I think my blog's current design looks much better than how it looked when I kept swapping out backgrounds. As for my blog's name, well, it's a mouthful, to be sure! At the same time, I'm unsure what I'd name a new book blog--I don't trust myself to be that original a second time.

  6. That's something else I didn't think about when I wrote my post. I probably would have dreamed up a different name, but mine wasn't originally a book blog.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  7. I love your blog design and your blog title! I don't think it's too long at all. But I know the feeling. Sometimes I wish I my blog title had been more creative.

  9. Oh, having a long blog name does make it hard to match your twitter handle doesn't it... Ah well, it's super cute anyway and so is your blog design! Did you do it yourself or did someone else put it together for you? I'm sort of flirting with the idea of re-doing mine at some point too, but I'm not tech-inclined so it always turns into such a hassle! I look forward to reading your reviews :)

  15. I hear what you mean about handle's matching. I had to do some shuffling around with that when I started seriously blogging. Great answer! And for the record, I really like your blog title. Might be a mouthful, but it stands out! :D Happy Friday! My FFs are at Musings on Fantasia and LKHill if you want to follow back!

  17. I like your blog design -- it's simple, pretty, and adds character without being distracting. I totally agree, though -- I spent way too much time swapping backgrounds and changing colors. I think I finally have mine where I like it (but watch me change something else next week!)

  21. Yeah, I'd agree with others, your blog name is nice. I know what you mean about getting a professional design down. It's so important cause it's like a first impression on a blog, definitely the first thing I notice when I go to a new blog for the first time.
